What Yoga is for me

My love of yoga began when I was seven years old. My stressed father found reprieve in the practice and was so inspired by the effects of yoga that he brought home a kids yoga VHS. I still fondly remember the first lion’s breath I haaaa’d out of my mouth in tandem with the video! Fast forward to today, yoga has become an incredible source of inspiration, focus, and clarity.

Yoga offers a great spectrum of perspective by engaging the senses and promoting an embodied sense of being. Through these practices we can embrace the ever changing parts of ourselves and rediscover that which remains unchanged at the core of our being, all by tapping into this living and breathing field of sensation we call our bodies.

My wish for you

My wish is that you feel a sense of embodiment, a sense of being tapped into your true and everlasting nature, the cave of your heart that is ever present, unobstructed and boundless. You may find glimpses of this essence in your yoga or meditation practice, in nature, or moments of flow. This divine presence exists within each of us and unites us into the collective consciousness. One breath at a time, as we touch our tender hearts, we awaken that which has always been and will always be. I'd love to walk this path with you and facilitate your journey to an embodied, connected life.
